What else is there to tell?

Along with the standard resume information found here, I thought you might want a few more personal details. So, here are some things you might want to know, but were afraid to ask (in no particular order):

I am the father of four wonderful children ages 10, 8, 6, and 4 (first two are girls and the next two boys). I have been married to the same beautiful wife for 20 years.

I was born and raised on a farm in southeastern Wisconsin (go Packers). I am the youngest of 6 children (two older sisters and three older brothers). Two of my siblings are physicians, one is an engineer, one is a financial consultant, and one has lived in Sweden for as long as I can remember.

I was heavily involved in sports as a child. I was the quarterback and captain of my football team, played varsity tennis, baseball, was a ski racer, and worked in a restaurant waiting tables my senior year in high school. These days I am more involved with soccer, basketball, baseball, etc. with my children's teams.

As a junior in high school, I was a foreign exchange student to Salzburg, Austria. Three of my siblings also were foreign exchange students and we hosted exchange students on several occasions.

I worked 20-30 hours per week throughout undergraduate and graduate school.

I have three years of high school German and one year of Spanish and have lived/worked in Germany and Spain while with Pepsi International.

I have held permanent residence in Wisconsin, Georgia, North Carolina, Connecticut, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Texas.

One last thing ...

I have a last name which is nearly impossible for anyone without German ancestry to pronounce. Don't worry, even I have a difficult time saying it at times.
